Australia: RP's view on the holiday ...

... flew in to sydney and was immediately on the go....picked up our nice big comfy rental car and off we go to check out the 'Gap' where the sea flows into the harbour ....

beautiful place but not a fantastic picture spot though cause i looked bigger than the opera house and harbour bridge combined! =) off to the blue mountains on the next day and that was cool.....kinda more like grey mountains though cause it was raining the whole day =P ...but it was fun.... i enjoyed the sensation of almost freezing my ears off then hopping back into a nice warm car and getting pins and needles on them instead...hahahahahaahaaaa... then it's on to canberra..... hope i didn't give the swans and ducks a tummyache by overfeeding them with corn crackers....after that, drove inland to the snowy mountains hoping to do some skiing but the snow was too little and the price was too high, so onwards to drink ourselves silly in Rutherglen where the wineries are....from there, up to Echuca to check out the Murry river and the paddleboats, then decided we wanted to scare some kangeroos so went on to the Grampains and stayed in this cute little place where you can feed the kookabora birds in the evening and see kangeroos jumping around on the field outside your room....and in the driveway, and just about everywhere!.....now that was fantastic! after that, went further inland to the little desert and the big desert national parks....after which we decided it's time to get back to the sea and beach so on to the great ocean road....we even saw a whale in action and koala bears in the trees along the way! After that, visited some cute little penguins in phillip island before flying out from melbourne.... yup, the summary of my two weeks (wink)in Oz.....essentially, we were on the go six hours a day then back in the room by 8pm after dinner watching tv till 12midnight with a bottle of wine...hahahhaaaaa...now that's life. =)
